Geeee

In Arthur Millers The Crucible, Act II, Scene ii negatively alters the earshot perceptions of the principle characters.
Act II, expectation ii changes the way the reference will think about Abigail Williams. First, when Abigail states I have at one time or twice played the shovel board. But I have no joy in it. (Page1) This shows that Abigail is not joyful with her life right now. The audience might feel toughened for her as they identify with the fact that sometimes getting what you want dummy up doesnt make you happy. Secondly when Abigail says George Jacobs he comes once more and again and raps me with his stick- the same spot all this week, look at the lump I have (page2). This portrays that Abigail is an innocent girl and she is a victim. The audience will then feel pity for her. lastly Abigail mentions, You taught me goodness, therefore your good… I used to weep for my sins when the device lifted up my skirts; and blushed shame when some old Rebecca called me bighearted (Page2). This conveys the people are persecuting her for a small things, thats it isnt all that of a deal. This also shows that her and John had a sanely good relationship going on.
John Proctor may be perceived poorly in Act II, scene ii.

To begin with, John Proctor says, I must babble out with you Abigail. Will you sit? (Page2). This shows that Proctor is organism polite and in the raw with Abigail. This is important because audience might think that Proctor nonoperational has feelings for Abigail. Next, I came to tell you Abby, what I will do tomorrow in the court. I wouldnt take you by surprise, entirely give you all god time to think on what to do to your self. (Page 3) John is still showing feelings for her, like being polite, tender and kind. He is using Abby instead of Abigail indicating that he still has feelings for her.
Therefore Act II, scene ii must be excluded from perspectives of the play.If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
