The line of reasoning between freedom and slavery in this poesy is very effective. It is a great style in which the poet uses to remediate the poem.

The poem is about a social lion who is being unplowed in a zoo as a holidaymaker attraction. The poet expresses the differences between life in the zoo and life in the tropics. This is all done through the mind of the lion which makes it seem more real. This makes the reader think more about how unjust it is on the lion being kept in a certain area all its life. The lion expresses its advantages and disadvantages of being in the zoo and being free. The contrast of being healthy, lively, ener foilic and conceptive whilst living in the free world is expressed and compared to assembly down all day being looked at by hundreds of people who do everything but set the lion free. This contrast really shows what the life of a lion should be like. The lion also mentions about the things that would happen while in the woodland including shaking the trees with my ghair

I think this contrast is done wellhead by the poet and without it the poem would not have the same imprint as it did.
