EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The intent of this study is to examine that it has contrariety of supermarket prices in the marketplace industry in 2008. By intend of inquiry of secondary data collection from ACCC, relevant evidence is selected, evaluated and form into three files: different sizes supermarkets of Coles/BI-LO, Woolworths/Safeway, ALDI and independents; three States for New South Wales, Queensland and capital of Seychelles; supermarkets argon located both in metropolitan world of capital city and other cities. In order to beg off the impact of these three factors on changes of average price of fundamental staple basket, this study has four tasks which based on the t statistic and F value statistic methods. The research results show the effect of severally factor and relative implications. Based on these findings, there is difference of average price for staple products in different sizes supermarkets, and the States and locations are little effect price changes.
