As a seventeen year old adult, when I saw this Abercrombie and Fitch advertisement I thought that women would be extremely attracted to the men in this picture due to their build. Little did I know that this was not the case, when I started to receive input from women I came to a realization that they see nothing in this picture only a model posing without real meaning.
My view of what women really wanted became so much more complex, if they do not see anything in this picture then why do men try so hard to proceed women? A factor might be that since we just see them as images on walls of these clothing stores they perk up lost meaning. though they might posses the masculinity in the form of muscle they have absolutely no personality, especially, since their faces are not shown in this picture. A reason why the photographer might not have put in a face for these men is to allow the woman decide. Does this make it harder for men to look legal for women? It does because in a world where we are so obessed with looking good for each other we just want the attention.
