Current Controversies Over the First and Second Amendments

One of the conditions that states asked for when ratifying the fender unify States Constitution was that it would include some Amendments protecting the prefatorial human rights of the citizens. On September 25, 1789 the First Congress of the United States proposed twelve amendments, the last ten of which became realizen as The snout of Rights.
