Introduction

Homi K. Bhabha is one of the leading voices in the contemporary postcolonial studies. His work has helped develop and redefine the speculation in a new, widening way, and also, to acquire new forms and perspectives. He introduced new terms and conceptions into the theory, that have helped air out the theory . In this paper, I will firstly present an introduction to postcolonial theory and its definitions and the problems with the term. Then I will deal with Homi Bhabha, his importance and his twain conceptions of mimicry and hybridity.
