Jekyll Island, Georgia Jekyll Island, Georgia is a strand that my family and I disc everyplaceed both years ago. Its one of the most beautiful places Ive been. The island is located some thirty miles north of the Florida State line. Jekyll Island is exactly about five miles around, but, it is breathere taking. It consists of beaches around the island, elegant fishing, and breath taking scenery. My kids really love driftwood beach. The beaches make for an all-day thing. The main beach there is on the north side of the island. There we bewilder our assholeopy and a cooler full of food and drinks. The kids command in the ocean and look for sand dollars. The Georgia coastline has well-nigh of the largest waves along the Atlantic coastline. Some waves will worry to be six feet luxuriously. My familys dearie part of the island is Driftwood Beach. The fishing dock sits beside of Driftwood Beach; thats why its my favorite. The reason citizenry call it Driftwood Beach, is beca pulmonary tuberculosis a ton of driftwood has been washed upon the shore. Its an excellent beach for kids to play on. Thats why its my kids favorite part of Jekyll Island. My kids also love mount all over the driftwood. Sometimes they find little hermit crabs climbing inside the driftwood. We also like St. Andrews beach. I can fish and the kids can watch the dolphins.

The fishing at St. Andrews beach is superb. You just put a shrimp on your hook and a few minutes later you be in possession of a flounder, mullet, shark, or even a sting ray. I caught sting rays and sharks off of my shrimp bait. People also use cast passs and seine nets to fish with. I used a seine net and it was downright awesome. A seine net is a long net about six feet high thats attached to two, eight foot poles. Seine nets leave in lengths from eight feet long to 75 feet long. We used the seventy-five feet seine net.
