Mr Munroe (who looks comparable Cousin It in the Addams Family) tries out different disguises (glasses and hats) but it is continuously perfectly obvious its him by the hair! They finally find the dogs in a warehouse and work out that it is really a scam masterminded by a icteric spew out and a parrot. The parrot sells the dogs as lapdogs, they give him knowledge about the owners house and then lean away, after which the cat burgles the house. In the end the dogs are returned to the owners, the cat and parrot are sent to a petting zoological garden by the Pet Police and Ottolines parents return home.

attractive characters, quirky but gentle humour, wonderful illustrations and attention to enlarge a book you urgency to keep.
