There are pros and cons to every decision that is made, and I feel that the decision that they joined States made was the correct decision. There are many grievous reasons as to why the United States dropped the atomic bombs in the foremost place. One reason why was that the Nipponese were know for neer giving up in battle. The japanese would fight to give up of battle. This would often mean a massive death cost for the japanese. Many of the deaths included committing suicide and kamikaze bombing. Even though the Japanese would lose so many lives in battle, they would never surrender. The single may to make the Japanese surrender was to drop the bombs. some other reason to justify the United States decision was that the two cities, if not bombed would be attacked anyways. If the bombs were not dropped on the two cities, the United States would stomach targeted a firebombing attack on the cities anyway. Also, a battle with Japan could lead to many more causalities than what dropping the bombs did.

If an invasion of Japan happened, the battle could have dragged on for a very dour time and could lead to an enormous death toll on both sides. However, the bombs initial affects last a much shorter time then what a battle would, and brought the resembling amount of casualties. In addition, the dropping of the bombs brought the immediate end to human being War II in the Pacific. This was very important because the contend brought a major amount of death as it already was, and if it was to go on any longer, that number would have change magnitude substantially.
